Katie was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley. She graduated from Brock University with an Honours Degree in Science Kinesiology in 2009. She then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University and has been practicing as a Registered Physiotherapist since graduating in 2011. During this time Katie has completed courses to help treat patients suffering from concussions and vertigo. She is also certified to perform acupuncture and has taken multiple courses to advance her skill set in treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions.

She believes in taking a client-centered approach, individually tailoring every treatment and exercise program for each patient. She enjoys working one-on-one with patients to help them reach their goals and achieve a healthy, active lifestyle. Katie believes in educating patients and providing them with the tools they need to take control of their health.

In her spare time, she enjoys many forms of exercise including hiking, running, golf, basketball and volleyball. She is honoured to be a part of the RCRC team and looks forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals! Learn more about physiotherapy here.
